WHERE'S ANIMAL CHIN? / MAY '07
Artwork for THE OUTPOST store in Brisbane, and their yearly skate exhibition. Same story as the Refill deck, I wanted the artwork to relate to my skateboarding years, rather than just being a nice graphic that happens to be on a deck. The Search For Animal Chin is a classic Bones Brigade movie, and to me it seemed a good time to recall the sentiment. The print came from a super grainy pic, direct from my old VHS tape.

(*SPOILER* - Animal Chin represents fun, and the spirit of skateboarding)

A2 Artwork for ALL OF THE ABOVE / JUNE '07
AOTA in Melbourne had a show to celebrate their studio/shop/crews first anniversary. Each invited artist was given a letter from their name, which was then screenprinted. Shown above is the film produced for my design.

Artwork for REFILL7 show / JAN '07
Refill mag put on an intense show - 100 or so artists supplied artwork to be laser etched into the ply of a skateboard deck. My artwork is a tribute to Jim Phillips and his Roskopp graphic, which in 1988 was the at the top of my want list. Not being a skater these days, I wanted my piece in the show to relate to the times when it was all it meant to me.

'COPYRIGHT THEFT' For ANOTHER" / 2006
I actually designed this a few years back, but never had the right place to release it. Another" approached myself and 3 labels (MISHKA, Rogue Status and Fibre Ops), who all did t-shirt graphics. Coming from the gallery angle I decided to go for an art print. 50 were screened up for the store and for their part of the collaboration Another" added the stamp on the bottom left corner - which translates from Chinese to read 'Easy come, easy go'.

DJ Big Asian Tsang wanted a graphic logo, relating to his trade. The hand represents knob-twiddling and the act of 'digging' through record crates, with the slash representing a record cover being flipped through.

China Heights Gallery logo / 2004
This is one of the first logos Ed and I worked on together, and has been in use ever since for all aspects of the gallery.
